Marta Monrós is a Catalan space and lighting designer based in Copenhagen. With a passion for crafting functional and bespoke spaces, she focuses on creating unique atmospheres through thoughtful design and careful attention to lighting.
She is currently pursuing an MSc in Lighting Design, further deepening her understanding of the relationship between light and space. Marta holds a bachelor’s degree in Design from EINA Barcelona, where she specialised in space and product design. Her studies also took her to Politecnico di Milano for a semester, an experience that broadened her perspective and reinforced her multidisciplinary approach to design.
Through her work, Marta aims to enhance spaces with carefully considered lighting solutions, ensuring that each project is both aesthetically compelling and functionally refined.
Recently, she has been collaborating closely with the Design Department at Vibia, integrating their products into residential projects and exhibition spaces.
She is also currently working as a student assistant at SLA, a landscape architecture studio in Copenhagen, where she explores approaches to exterior lighting while respecting dark sky principles.
